This guide covers a few important details specific to the Baker club. Switchyards is a shared neighborhood work club, open 24/7 and designed for focus, flexibility, and respect.

⚡️ All-City access
Your Switchyards membership includes 24/7 access to every current and future club. That’s the idea behind All-City: one membership, all the clubs.
🌐 Wi-Fi
At every club, the network name is Switchyards and the password is madewithsoul.
🛟 Reserve a phone booth or meeting room
Every club has phone booths or meeting rooms for private calls and Zooms. These spaces are reservation-only. No drop-ins are allowed, and you must check in to confirm your booking.
Book a room at switchyards.com/rooms. It takes about 20 seconds.
You’ll receive a check-in reminder email 30 minutes before your reservation. You have up to 10 minutes after the booking start time to check in. If you don’t check in, your reservation is canceled and released to another member.
Each Club Room includes a Club Room Kit with extra dry erase markers, an eraser, and backup remote batteries.
🍎 Rules for a great experience
Switchyards is a shared space, and you’re going to see your neighbors here.
For the club to work well, there are specific ways the space should and shouldn’t be used. Please review the Club Rules. Members who repeatedly ignore the rules or are disrespectful to others may be removed from the club.

Before You Visit
🚪 Access
All members use the Alta Open app to unlock the doors.
You’ll receive a separate email from Avigilon Alta Open inviting you to download the app. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it.
Look for the subject line:
“Activate your mobile key for Switchyards.”
You will not be able to enter any club without this app. If you didn’t receive the invitation, reach out to Member Services using the Member Services Form.
🚙 Parking
There is a dedicated parking lot behind the club for Switchyards members only.
Additional parking is first come, first served along surrounding neighborhood streets. A full parking map is available here.
🦉 Hours
Always open, 24/7.
🔒 Security
You can access the club anytime using the Alta Open app. The space is continuously monitored through access control systems and closed-circuit security cameras.

All members use the Alta Open app to open the doors. With the app installed, scan your phone or wave your hand in front of the black reader by the door.
If access is set to Always Allow, your phone can stay in your pocket. If not, you’ll need to unlock your phone to enter.
If you lost your invitation or never received access, double-check your spam folder first. If it’s still missing, reach out to Member Services using the Member Services Form.
🦉 24/7 access
The club is open 24/7 for work and deep focus. Access and security monitoring run around the clock.
👋 Clubkeeps
Because the clubs are open 24/7, staff will not always be physically on-site.
That said, the space is continuously monitored, and our Clubkeeps check in on the club in person every day. We call it invisible hospitality.
📰 Club Paper
Club Paper is a small tabloid for and by Switchyards members.
Share your work, events, and classifieds at switchyards.com/clubpaper. Copies are available in the club.
🌵 The Space
The Baker club is designed to support different work styles.
In the large cafe area, small in-person meetings and casual conversation are welcome. If you’re on a call or Zoom, please use one of the four bookable phone booths or the Club Room so others can stay focused.
Restrooms are located next to the library area.
🔍 Lost and Found
If you’ve left something behind, contact Member Services. Include “Lost and Found” in your message for the quickest support.
🚫 Club Rules
This is a shared space, and respect for others is non-negotiable. Please follow the Club Rules so the experience stays great for everyone.
