⚡️ “All-City” access
Switchyards membership includes 24/7 access to all of our current and future clubs. That’s the power of All-City membership.
🌐 Wi-Fi
Across all locations, our network name is Switchyards and the password is madewithsoul.
🛟 Reserve a phone booth or meeting room
All locations have either phone booths or meeting rooms for private calls or Zooms. These must be reserved in order to use. No drop-ins. You must also check in to confirm your booking.
Book a room at switchyards.com/rooms. It takes about 20 seconds.
You’ll receive a check-in reminder email 30 minutes before your reservation. You have until 10 minutes after the booking start time to check in. If you don’t, the reservation is canceled and released to another member.
Each Club Room includes extra dry erase markers, an eraser, and spare batteries for the remote.
🍎 Rules for a great experience
Switchyards is a shared space. You’re going to bump into your neighbors. For the experience to work well for everyone, there are specific ways the club should be used, and not used.
Please review the Club Rules section. Members who routinely violate the rules or are generally disrespectful to others will be removed from the club.

Before You Visit
🚪 Access
All members use an app called Alta Open to access the club. You’ll receive a separate email from Avigilon Alta Open with an invitation to download the app. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it.
Look for the subject line: “Activate your mobile key for Switchyards.”
You cannot enter any club without this app. If you didn’t receive the invite, reach out to Member Services.

Our Downtown location is classic "city living", so parking is all paid. There are both parking decks/lots and traditional street parking ($2/hr with ParkMobile app).
We're super convenient off of MARTA (Peachtree Center Station or Five Points Station) and for walking/biking!

🔒 Security
You will be able to access the club anytime you like using the Alta Open app. The space will be constantly monitored via access control and our closed-circuit security cameras.
When you get here
🤳 Getting in
The entrance to the 24/7 Downtown location is in the side alley on Williams Street. Look for the black double doors underneath the Switchyards sign.
You will not be able to enter through the front gate on Ted Turner Drive.
🔮 Opening the doors
All members will use an app to open the doors. It’s our fancy new way for you to open the doors of Switchyards with your phone. Upon joining the club you will receive an invitation to download the Alta Open Security app. Please note: you will not be able to enter any location without this.
With the app installed on your phone, just scan your phone or wave your hand in front of the black reader next to the door.

Set access to "Always Allow" and all you have to do is wave your hand near the reader. Your phone doesn't even have to leave your pocket. It’s pretty magical once you do it.

If access is not set to "Always Allow", you'll have to take your phone out of your pocket to unlock the door.
If access is lost or never received, first check your spam folder. If it’s still missing, reach out to Member Services.
🏢 Getting up to “The Penthouse”
This is our only elevated Switchyards location, located on the top floor of a 100-year-old downtown building.
When you enter the building, you can take the stairs or elevator to the 3rd floor. The club is on the 3rd floor. Please do not disturb other floors, which house offices and our event hall.
Inside the club
🦉 24/7
The club is always open for 24/7 work and focus. You will be able to access the club anytime you like using the Alta Open app. The space will be constantly monitored via access control and our closed-circuit security cameras.
👋 Clubkeeps
Since these spaces are 24/7, we will not have staff on-site at all hours. We will, however, be constantly monitoring the space and will have our Clubkeeps physically checking in on it every day. We call it "invisible hospitality".
🌐 Wi-Fi
The password is madewithsoul across all locations.
📰 Club Paper
Club Paper is a little tabloid thing for and by the members of Switchyards. Submit your stuff at switchyards.com/clubpaper. They're yours for the taking!
🌵 The Space
The space is open but divided into a few primary areas. We've been very thoughtful about sound and volume levels throughout the space. Sonically, we designed the space for three distinct use cases:

The front cafe area is meant to be vibey and buzzing! We want folks to be able to have in-person conversations without having to whisper. Small in-person meetings and chatting are totally fine.

Phone calls and zooms are meant to be taken in the soundproof phone booths in the library.

And then all sounds fade away as you enter the library, where it should be super quiet for deep focus. Please respect the quiet areas and do not take calls, meetings, zooms, etc. when working at the library tables or study carrels.
