This guide covers everything you need to know about the Eastwood club, including access, parking, Wi-Fi, reserving rooms, and how the space is designed to be used.

✨ Welcome to the club

This guide covers a few important topics that are unique to our Eastwood club. If you ever have questions or need support, please reach out to Member Services.

⚡️ All-City access

The magic of All-City membership is that it gives you 24/7 access to all Switchyards locations across Nashville and Atlanta.

🌐 Wi-Fi

Across all locations, our network name is Switchyards and the password is madewithsoul.

🛟 Reserve a phone booth or meeting room

All locations have phone booths or meeting rooms available for private calls and Zooms. These spaces must be reserved in advance. Drop-ins are not permitted.

Book a room at switchyards.com/rooms. It takes about 20 seconds.

You will receive a check-in reminder email 30 minutes before your reservation. You have until 10 minutes after the booking start time to check in. If you do not check in, your reservation will be canceled and may be rebooked by another member.

Each Club Room includes a kit with dry erase markers, an eraser, and spare remote batteries.

🍎 Rules for a great experience

Switchyards is a shared space, and you’re going to bump into your neighbors.

To keep the experience great for everyone, there are clear expectations for how the space is used and respected. Members who routinely violate club rules or are generally disrespectful to others may be removed from the club.

Before You Visit

🚪 Access

All members use the Alta Open app to access the club.

You will receive a separate email from Avigilon Alta Open with an invitation to download the app. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it. Look for the subject line: Activate your mobile key for Switchyards.

You will not be able to enter any club without this app. If you did not receive the invitation, contact Member Services.

 

🚙 Parking

1101 Chapel Ave, Nashville, TN, 37206

There is plenty of free street parking in Eastwood, with parking available at the front and side of the building as well as throughout the surrounding neighborhood.

Please do not park in the rear lot. Designated bike parking is available near the entrance.

Always open, 24/7.

🔒 Security

You can access the club at any time using the Alta Open app. The space is monitored with access control and closed-circuit security cameras.

When you get here

🔮 Opening the doors

Members should enter through the side door on Chapel Ave, not through the entrance with the large columns. Look for the Switchyards sign above the door.

To enter, scan your phone or wave your hand near the black reader by the door.

If your access is set to Always Allow, your phone can stay in your pocket. If not, you’ll need to unlock your phone to scan in.

If you experience access issues, contact Member Services after checking your spam folder.

Inside the club

🦉 24/7 access

The club is always open for focused work, anytime you need it. Access and security monitoring are in place at all hours.

👋 Clubkeeps

Because our clubs are open 24/7, staff are not on-site at all times. Our Clubkeeps monitor the space remotely and physically check in every day. We call this invisible hospitality.

📰 Club Paper

Club Paper is a member-created publication by and for the Switchyards community. Submit your work at switchyards.com/clubpaper. Copies are available in the club.

🌵 The Space

The club is divided into two primary areas: the café located in the great hall and the Library of Deep Work and Focus.

  • The café area allows for light conversation and small in-person meetings.

  • The library areas are intended for quiet, focused work. Calls, meetings, and Zooms are not permitted there.

If you need to take a call, please use one of the eight bookable phone booths or one of the three meeting rooms.

🔍 Lost and Found

If you’ve left something in the club, contact Member Services. Include “Lost and Found” in your message for faster support.

This is a shared space with shared expectations. Please follow the club rules to ensure a great experience for everyone.
