Frequently Asked Questions

Switchyards is a shared neighborhood work club. Most questions around guests, pets, food, phone booths, and filming are covered below.

🙏 Guests

Can I bring a guest?
Yes. Members are welcome to bring guests, and we treat them like members while they’re here. We do ask that recurring guests consider membership and that guest count stays reasonable. Think 1 to 2 people.

Who counts as a guest?
Guests are occasional visitors. They are not regular coworkers, collaborators, or teammates. If someone is coming often, they should have their own membership.

Can a guest come without me or use my membership?
No. Guests must arrive with a member and cannot stay after that member leaves. Memberships are not transferable.

How often can I bring a guest?
If someone is visiting regularly, it’s time for them to join.

How many guests can I bring?
1 to 2 guests at a time is generally fine. If you’ve booked a meeting room, you can bring up to the room’s seating capacity.

🦄 Pets

Can I bring my dog?
Certified service animals are welcome. All other pets must remain outside, including quick stops inside. This helps us be respectful of members with allergies and sensitivities.

🗄 Billing

Can I see my invoices or receipts?
Yes. All invoices and receipts are available in the membership dues portal.

How do I update my card on file?
You can update your payment method directly in the membership dues portal.

How do I cancel my membership?
You can cancel through the Member Hub or by the Member Services contact form

🏘 Locations

Can I visit any Switchyards location?

All clubs are open 24/7, 365 days a year. Once we open a club, it never closes.

Private phone booths are available at all locations and are also bookable at switchyards.com/rooms.
