Old Fourth Ward
This guide covers everything you need to know about the Old Fourth Ward club, including access, parking, Wi-Fi, reserving rooms, and how the space is designed to be used
✨ Welcome to the club
This page covers a few important topics that are unique to our Old Fourth Ward location. If you ever have questions, please reach out to Member Services.
⚡️ “All-City” access
The magic of All-City membership is 24/7 access to all Switchyards locations, including current and future clubs.
🌐 Wi-Fi
Across all locations, our network name is Switchyards and the password is madewithsoul.
🛟 Reserve a phone booth or meeting room
All locations have either phone booths or meeting rooms for private calls or Zooms. These must be reserved in order to use. No drop-ins. You must also check in to confirm your booking.
Book a room at switchyards.com/rooms. It takes about 20 seconds.
You’ll receive a check-in reminder email 30 minutes before your reservation. You have until 10 minutes after the booking start time to check in. If you don’t, the reservation is canceled and released to another member.
Each Club Room includes extra dry erase markers, an eraser, and spare batteries for the remote.
🍎 Rules for a great experience
Switchyards is a shared space. You’re going to bump into your neighbors. For the experience to work well for everyone, there are specific ways the club should be used, and not used.
Please review the Club Rules section. Members who routinely violate the rules or are generally disrespectful to others will be removed from the club.

Before You Visit
🚪 Access
All members use an app called Alta Open to access the club. After joining, you’ll receive an email invitation from Avigilon Alta Open to download the app. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it.
This app is your key. You will not be able to enter any location without it.
If you didn’t receive the invitation, reach out to Member Services.
🦉 Hours
Always open — 24/7
🔒 Security
You can access the club anytime using the Alta Open app. The space is monitored through access control systems and closed-circuit security cameras.

🚲 🚙 Getting here (parking, Beltline, bikes)
659 Auburn Ave NE, Suite 250, Atlanta, GA 30312
Old Fourth Ward is classic city living, which means free street parking throughout the neighborhood.
-
Refer to the parking map (green streets) for recommended areas
-
The Beltline is the easiest way to get here. We’re just off the Eastside Trail
-
A bike rack is located directly outside the club
The Beltline is the ideal way to get to Old Fourth Ward. We’re just off the Eastside trail. And there is a bike rack right outside our front door (see below).
🔮 Opening the doors
All members use the Alta Open app to open the doors. Upon joining, you’ll receive an invitation to download the Alta Open Security app. You will not be able to enter any location without it.
With the app installed, scan your phone or wave your hand in front of the black reader next to the door.
Set access to “Always Allow” and you won’t even need to take your phone out of your pocket.
If access is not set to “Always Allow,” you’ll need to unlock your phone to enter.
If access is lost or never received, first check your spam folder. If it’s still missing, reach out to Member Services.
Inside the club
🦉 24/7
The club is always open for work and focus, day or night. Access is managed through the Alta Open app, and the space is monitored at all times.
👋 Clubkeeps
Because our clubs are open 24/7, staff will not be on-site at all hours. That said, the space is constantly monitored, and our Clubkeeps physically check in every day.
We call it invisible hospitality.

🌵 The Space
The club is intentionally zoned for different types of work:
-
Cafe area: social and conversational. Small in-person meetings and chatting are welcome
-
Library: quiet and heads-down. Please do not take calls, meetings, or Zooms in this area
-
Phone booths and Club Room: reserved for calls and virtual meetings
Respecting these zones helps keep the club great for everyone.
